The Gabriel Collection presents handmade glass ornaments that capture the essence of winter and the very spirit of Christmas. Each creation is a celebration of the ties that bind families together. 

Susan and the team are truly in love with Akua’s products. The connection started with a passion for coloured glass, which Akua beautifully describes as “poetry”—a sentiment we wholeheartedly share. Each piece is unique and special. Beyond being functional, they add a pleasing touch to any home. We deeply appreciate and share the passion and craftsmanship that goes into each glass creation.

Specifications

The ornament are handmade and the precise work involving glass moulds and detailed hand-painting can take up to an hour per piece to create. Dimensions per object vary.

About the Designer

Akua Objects was founded in 2022 in Copenhagen by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur with a vision to create glassware as poetic objects. 

Akua Objects embarked on a journey to redefine the essence of tableware, infusing each designed piece with a soulful narrative and an exquisite aesthetic. 

The brand is inspired by artisans who faithfully devote their lives to continuing ancient traditions in glass blowing and enhancing their skills throughout their career.

Akua Objects has a carefully selected production, working only with European partners and produces small quantities with sustainability deeply embedded in its core values.
