This year, we proudly celebrate 25 years of SUSAN BIJL and the Flash!
And what better way to celebrate than by making the Flash the centrepiece of our annual collection.
The Flash
The Flash has been a defining element of our designs since the very beginning. First featured in the prototype of The New Shopping Bag, this upward stripe embodies optimism and momentum. Its clean contrast in colour has become our unmistakable signature. To us, the Flash stands for a commitment to timeless, functional products that only get better with age.

Upwards and onwards
We look ahead with a collection that’s more resilient than ever. The Flash collection now features a 10,000 mm waterproof rating, making The New Shopping Bag, The New Pouch, and The New Foldable Backpack more durable in all (weather) conditions.
We’ve also taken a major step towards closed-loop recycling by transitioning to mono-materials for products like The New Bum Bag and The New Backpack. All hardware is now designed in-house and made of stainless steel, which ensures strength, rust resistance, and easy repairs.
